School Camps

The Sacred Heart School camp program is structured around the ideal of independence, with students developing skills and building connections with each other and the environment over time.

The following is the annual progression of “camp” activities in our Outdoor Education Program:

Prep Prep Prep Breakfast & Prep Tea On separate occasions, children have dinner and breakfast at school
Year 1 Year One Stayback Dinner and activities at school
Year 2 Year Two Sleepover An overnight sleepover at school
Year 3 Swan Hill Camp An overnight camp at Swan Hill Pioneer Settlement
Year 4 Roses Gap (Grampians) Camp A two-night camp
Year 5 Ballarat Camp A two-night educational excursion to Sovereign Hill, Ballarat
Year 6 Melbourne Camp A four night educational excursion to Melbourne
