Sacred Heart educators seek to adhere to the rights of all students, to enable every student to flourish. Sacred Heart is committed to getting to know students’ strengths and differences to actively engage all students while recognising their cultural, academic, behavioural, social/emotional, spiritual and physical attributes.

Sacred Heart is committed to delivering quality instruction and providing multi-tiered systems of support to actively engage all students in our school. By providing quality instruction and providing muli-tiered systems of support, students’ learning opportunities expand exponentially. This is true not only in each student’s immediate academic context, but across every aspect of their spiritual, personal and social development.

We acknowledge that many factors can influence the way a student learns, as well as a commitment to the moral, legal and theological obligations of our educational system to ensure that all learners are valued and actively engaged in their education. This requires us as a school to work in partnership with families, allied health services, external agencies and Catholic Education Ballarat (CEB) to remove barriers to learning for all students, identify those who may need more support, and work in partnership to provide creative ways of learning.

Below we have some videos that give a snapshot of how learning occurs at Sacred Heart Primary School.  You will get a sense of how learning progresses as the students move through the school.
